We enjoyed this post from Kevin DeYoung:
The Starting Point for Christian Unity
And were reminded of this classic article from Roger Nicole:
Polemic Theology: What do I Owe the Person Who Differs from Me?
Both of which reminded us of this (gracious) disagreement within our own denomination (the PCA):
The Case for Commissioning (not Ordaining) Deaconnesses
The Case for Our Current Policy on Female Deacons
Oh! That every Christian in every church and denomination would disagree about important topics with such humility and charitable presumptions.
Two more RedeemingLINKS for this week:
A great article by Dr. Tim Lane on Helping “Difficult” People in Your Church
And another excellent article by Carolyn McCulley on a topic that can cause a lot of conflict in churches: How to Serve the Unmarried People in Your Church
Dave’s blog post for the week should be coming soon–so stay tuned!
